September, 1881, Tombstone Arizona. After a brush with death in the Arizona desert, Doc Holliday is convinced that it is time to put down his gun and return home to Baltimore. However, a chance reunion with his old friend Wyatt Earp shatters those plans, drawing Doc into a darkening conflict that threatens everything he hopes to leave behind.
In the midst of the turmoil, Doc meets Kate Fisher, the one person who makes him believe he might have a future. Unfortunately, they meet at the worst possible time, as the gathering storm propels him toward the gunfight that will make him an American legend.
