These two new plays showcase different sides of my writing. What the Dickens Is Happening! is a warm, imaginative holiday comedy inspired by Charles Dickens, while Sometimes, There's a Wink is an intimate solo drama drawn from true events. Together they reflect my continuing exploration of stories that blend humor, heart, and the resilience of the human spirit.

A funny and unexpectedly moving true story about grief, coincidence, and the surprising connections that help us find our way back to life.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, a grieving son struggles to find his footing after losing his mother to dementia. As the world shuts down around him, an unexpected friendship with the handyman renovating his home becomes a lifeline, revealing that hope often arrives in the most ordinary ways. Inspired by a true story, Sometimes, There's a Wink is a meditation on loss, human connection, and the quiet moments that make us wonder whether those we've loved are ever truly gone.

What if the Ghost of Christmas Past accidentally sent Scrooge somewhere Dickens never imagined?
An unexpected detour through Christmas history takes Scrooge centuries into the past, where he encounters Shakespeare, St. Nicholas, and Mary and Joseph in the stable at Bethlehem. Along the way, each stop challenges his beliefs about generosity, compassion, and the true spirit of Christmas before returning him to the story Charles Dickens wrote.
